Effects throughout film
For this shot, I edited it by using the warp stabiliser effect to ensure there is no shaking when watching it. Also, I colour corrected this clip/the other clips and added a warm blue tone. I did this to make the film look cinematic and professional.
Overall, this shot worked well, because when looking at this shot, looking at the props featured can indirectly tell the audience a bit more about the character/the story. For example, the gun can tell the audience that violence will be mentioned, the camera can tell the audience that perhaps spying will be involved in this film and the phone can tell the audience that other characters are left to be introduced.
Doing this worked well, because when looking at the footage, it tells the audience that the film overall will revolve around cameras/revolve around the genre of a surveillance thriller. Also, this clip has the warm blue tone on it as well, which I added to ensure the entire film looks the same.
For this shot, I edited it by adding black and white onto the clip. Doing this worked well, because it represents a change in time as well as tells the audience that perhaps this moment of time was dark and depressing for the main character, hence showing the audience that Joe saw everything as dark and dull during this time.
Also, I edited this clip by adding an effect where the shot zooms into the church slightly. I did this by changing the scale of the footage throughout the clip. Doing this worked well, because it forces the audience to focus on the church/tell them that this church has a form of significance.
Also, I added a church bell sound effect in the background of this clip, which worked well, because it adds atmosphere to the clip and makes the audience feel as though they are in this moment/currently experiencing what Joe had to experience in the past.
For this shot, I edited it by adding a warm blue tone onto this clip and the other clips. Doing this worked well, because it ensures all the clips look the same regardless of the fact that the weather conditions weren't the same when recording these shots. Also, it makes the clip look cinematic and professional.
Also, for this shot, I added an effect on the clip which zooms into the photo slightly. I did this by changing the scale of the footage throughout the clip. Doing this worked well, because it ensures the audience is focused on the image/tells them that this person is very significant throughout the film.
Also, having this zoom tells the audience that Joe is thinking deeply about this person before taking any decisions which may hurt this person.
For this shot, I edited it by adding ADR onto the clip to ensure the audience can clearly hear what the character is saying. Doing this worked well, because when recording, we noticed that there were odd times where the camera was unable to pick up the dialogue, so doing this ensured that there was no issues with hearing the dialogue.
Also, I edited this clip by having joe's voice sound as though it is coming through the phone. I did this by adding the effect 'HighPass' onto Joe's ADR. Doing this was good, because when we were recording on this day, Joe was unable to join us, so being able to adjust this and make it seem as though he is talking through the phone using effects makes the situation seem natural/realistic.
Which part of the project or process are you most proud of?
If you were to do this project again, what would you change?
If I had the chance to do this project again, I would change the amount of dialogue we have in the overall film and increase this. I would do this, because when watching the film, I noticed that if we added more dialogue into it, this would ensure that the audience are more aware of how hurt Joe is over the fact that he has lost someone meaningful to him.
Will/how will you be sharing this video? To your friends on Facebook, to your family on YouTube? If not, why not?
In terms of sharing my video, I would share it via YouTube and tell my friends to watch it online as well as my family. I would do this, because overall I am proud of the film that I have produced and feel that others would be proud of me as well after watching it.

Which part of the project or process are you most proud of?
Overall, I am most proud of the amount of footage my group produced and how well we worked together. I am proud of this, because when putting the footage together, I didn't experience a moment where I wished we recorded more or regretted any shots. Also, the way we worked so well together made me realise that working as a team keeps me more motivated to do work than working by myself, which is good because it got the job done to a high standard.
What was the most difficult part of this project? Did you overcome it? If so, how?
Overall, the most difficult part of the project was getting around the process of filming with the unexpected change in weather. However overall, we overcame this problem by rescheduling times of when we would record certain shots (for example, when it was raining, we recorded the shots of the room and computer instead of recording outside).
What lessons have you learned for your next project?
Overall, the lessons I have learned for the next project is to be aware that not all film projects will be laid back and the deadlines will be more strict than others, so I should make sure that I am on top of my work to produce a piece of work which looks professional and good.
